September: LCQ Update: What you need to know
The new Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (2012) comes into effect on December 18th 2013. Please read on to find out how this will impact the Licence Control Qualification (LCQ).

Tamara Johnson of St Heliers Bay Café & Bistro in Auckland outshone competitors in this year’s ServiceIQ Modern Apprentice Chef of the Year competition, winning the gold medal.

On Monday August 19th eight of New Zealand’s top Apprentice Chefs will be competing for the chance to become the 2013 ServiceIQ Cookery Apprentice of the Year.

The team has updated and refreshed some of the cookery schools resources for 2013. The resources have been reformatted with LLN best practice in mind to help students with their learning. The PowerPoints are also more engaging for students and user friendly for teachers.

Tamara Johnson delivered an outstanding performance to become the 2013 ServiceIQ Cookery Modern Apprentice of the Year.
Tamara Johnson successfully competed and won the 2013 ServiceIQ Modern Apprentice of the Year competition in Auckland. As part of the prize-package Tamara will attend the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival in March 2014.
