It covers areas such as the importance of personal hygiene, how to prevent cross-contamination in the workplace, and the importance of measuring and recording the temperature of food. The package covers unit standards:

- 20666 Demonstrate a basic knowledge of contamination hazards and control methods used in a food business. (L2,C2)
