Certificate of Achievement pack (COA) - Wine

This package gives candidates a comprehensive knowledge of wine and wine evaluation. The programme covers grape growing and wine-making, plus the evaluation of wines commonly seen on modern wine lists.
The package covers unit standards:
- 4637 Demonstrate knowledge of New Zealand wines and wine producers (L4,C4)
- 4638 Demonstrate knowledge of imported wines (L4,C6)
- 22912 Evaluate wine (L4,C4)
- 23060 Demonstrate knowledge of viticulture and wine-making (L3,C4)
This package also includes the Peter Saunders Guide to Wine and the film “Essence”. Please note that wines required for evaluation are not included in the resources supplied by HSI.
