HSI Annual Report 2008

Our key focus has been to widen the engagement of employers in training, and ensuring that learners complete their chosen qualification. With strong engagement already from the sectors of Accommodation and Quick Service Restaurants, our business development focus turned to the Food Services and Small Business sectors.
While we had an overall strong result this year - exceeding Investment Plan targets for trainee completions and number of employers engaged in training - the Board expects to see the groundwork completed this year come to fruition even more strongly in the coming years of the Investment Plan.
