Café Savvy - Candidate Pack

This package is designed for candidates wanting to complete the National Certificate in Hospitality Café, Level 3.

It is for people who are starting work or already working in the Café sector of the hospitality industry.  

This package covers the knowledge and skills related to:

  • making coffee
  • food safety
  • maintaining personal presentation and greeting customers
  • dealing with customer complaints
  • maximising sales and service opportunities.

 

The Café Savvy Package includes four books that covers the five compulsory unit standards for the qualification:

  1. Food Safety Skills Book (learning material only)
  2. Customer Service Skills Book (learning material only)
  3. Barista Skills (learning material only)
  4. Integrated Assessment Book (Assessment only)

In order to be awarded the National Certificate in Hospitality - Café, Level 3, candidates will need to:

  • complete the Intergrated Assessment Book (Seven unit standards, totalling 28 credits) and;
  • complete a further 18 credits at Level 3.
