The Food Services sector is about catering for large numbers of people. You could be working at one of the country's sports stadiums, feeding the crowds, or in a hospital helping to nourish patients and medical staff, or perhaps, catering for actors and extras on a film shoot. Jobs range from front line customer service through to food production, service management, multi-site management, general management, sales and marketing, procurement, training, and compliance.

Pippa looks after clients and businesses within the Food Services sector from large catering organisations, stadium and event catering through to smaller hospital sites, residential care, staff cafeterias within corporate businesses and prison kitchens; helping clients to implement training into these types of businesses and advising people around suitable qualifications and training options along with arranging funding support for all eligible businesses.

Andy Simmons – Food Services Coordinator/Assessor
Andy is the coordinator for the Food Services Modern Apprenticeship, and also the assessor for all of the practical components of the programme. Andy will assist employers and apprentices with their training plans, visit them regularly to complete practical assessments and make sure they’re generally on-track and making good progress with each training module along the way.
