This qualification is intended for reservationists who work in large hotels and are dealing with and resolving problems on a daily basis. This qualification recognises the ability of candidates to integrate their skills and knowledge through performing front office functions over a considerable period of time in the workplace. Holders of this qualification are able to perform routine front office duties, deal with unexpected reservation situations, optimise occupancy and meet yield targets, establish effective working relationships with equivalent role holders in other divisions of the hotel, and promote the establishment’s products and services.
