National Certificate in Hospitality (Small Business Management) - (Level 4)

This national certificate is for people who are managing or intending to manage a small hospitality business.
It is designed to meet the needs of owners and managers of SMEs (small to medium enterprises) in the hospitality
industry.

The qualification recognises that the holder has the marketing, finance, advertising, recruitment and time management skills necessary to enable them to plan, organise, and manage themselves, other people, and operations in a small hospitality business.

In addition, the holder will be able to demonstrate skills selected from the areas of interpersonal communication, team building, hospitality front office procedures, food safety, guest services and hospitality staff rostering through the elective unit standards in this qualification.

This qualification can be a pathway to:
