Evidence Records and Assessment Schedules

Evidence Records (ER’s) are assessment tools to assist trainers, assessors and their candidates to meet the requirements of hospitality Unit Standards. For every ER is a corresponding Assessment Schedule (AS), to give guidance to assess the unit standard.  Assessment Schedules (AS's) are designed to give assessors all the guidance they need to assess individual unit standards.  AS's include sample answers to the UPK questions found in Evidence Records.

Certificate of Achievement Packs (COA)

Certificate of Achievement packs (COA’s) are short course training packages containing approx 3 or more unit standards over a range of Hospitality Domains.

Individual Training Package (ITP)

Individual Training Packs (ITPs) are training resources for the trainer and candidate on a unit standard.  One resource book covers one unit standard.  Including teaching resource and assessment.

Food Services Products and Programmes

Stage One

Three short training programmes have been designed around the National Certificate in Hospitality (Entry Skills), Level 2; for food preparation for smaller Hospitals and Residential Care; Trayline service, for larger hospitals and airline catering kitchens and Café for Business Services Café type operations. A new training resource has been developed for each of these LCP’s and is available through HSI.
